Can I try to return this game?

So I bought a copy of Rage for the PS3 from your local store and it flat out doesn't work.  I has to be a dud from the factory because I've tried everything and still can't get it to load in my system.  The manual inside was bent in half as well when I opened it up so something must have happened at the factory.  I don't have the receipt anymore but is there anything I can do?

It cannot be returned, only exchanged.

 

You would need your receipt, but depending on how you  purchased it (cash/credit card/check) they may be able to look up the receipt for you and reprint a copy.  Also, it must be purchased within 30 days to be eligible for exchange.

I bought it with a gift card so that's probably a bad thing considering I don't have the receipt anymore huh?

Sorry to hear about the defective game. We will exchange the game for the same game, but we will need the receipt. I'll be happy to look for your receipt but I'll need more information in order to do so. Also, please include the approximate purchase date, store location and purchase price.
