My dad recently got me the "Toshiba - Satellite Laptop / Intel® Core™ i3 Processor / 6" Display / 4GB Memory / 500GB Hard Drive - Slate" (Worst mistake of my life) and have had nothing but problems with it. The touch sensitive buttons only worked for the first few days I got it. After a few days they would light up randomly and mute the sound and turn it all the way up and all that. and it refuses to connect to the internet and so on.
My dad was looking at the receipt and it said something about a 14 day return period. I'm no sure if we can still return it since we have had it for about 28 days now..... We plan to return it tomorrow and exchange it for either a full refund or a new different laptop. Do you think we will be able to return it tomorrow?

They are not required to extend the return policy for this, but if you are nice about it and calmly explain the problems you've had with the unit they might make an exception for you. It's worth a try, just don't count on it happening.

If the store is willing to help you out, then they are more willing to exchange it than return it. Please keep in mind the 15% restocking fee...

Good morning Kelly24 -
As was mentioned by many of our posters, you are more than likely well beyond the 14 day return period for your laptop computer. The suggestion that explaining to the store what is occurring and seeing what type of accommodation they can offer, is a very good suggestion.
I would like to inquire if you have been to the store since originally posting this, and what was the outcome if so?
