I see the other thread is solved so I figured I'd start a new one.
I purchased the Nook on black friday and saw the promotion for the free 2gb micro sd card. Well, here I am a week later with a new nook but no micro sd card. I've emailed customer service twice now with no response. I don't have an hour to waste on the phone trying to talk to someone that hasn't mastered the english language. I can understand if there is some confusion over the promotion, but to be ignored all together is crossing the line. I've been a reward zone member for years and a platinum member for a couple years and customer service (if you want to call it that) like this makes the competitors offers look more appealing. I'd like to see this resolved as quickly as possible.

In order to get the free SD card you would have had to have rung out with it. Whether you grabbed it off the shelf and went to the checkout or put it in your cart on bestbuy.com. Filing a BBB complaint because you neve picked up the item is probably not gonna do much.
BTW Response time here is usually 3-5 business days.

I undersatand the BBB complaint wont really do anything, but it's the principle. They offer a free gift with the purchase of an item, but then don't give it to you and no one in customer service has any knowledge of the promo.

The online promo was supposed to add the SD card to your cart automatically... which is a very good thing since the card can't be found on the web site anywhere!
Just to kind of tie these posts together, I linked the four threads with this problem in this post. Maybe that'll help people get resolved...? (I hope so! I want my SD cards!)

Im having the same exact problem. Customer service has no clue. It took several calls to get a case opened.
They said I would get a call back in 2 days.
5 days later I had to call them back.'
I was told the Promotions Dept could not find the card on my order and they closed the case!!!!!!!!
We need some senior people to jump in here and get this fixed. This is rediculous.
Im getting really tired of spending hours on hold just to get no help.
One way to get attention is to start [posting negative feed back on-line. Maybe they will listen to bad advertising.

So, its true that the only way to get help from BestBuy is to file a BBB complaint?

I had the same issue with the Nook that I ordered on Black Friday. I received my Nook without the "2 GB with 30 books" that they had advertised.
After spening about 2 Hrs, I got hold of the customer service folks, who opened a case for me on this issue.
this was about about 2 weeks ago ( on 29th ) and I havn't heard back from anyone yet.
I had called about 4 times, and the only reply that I get is "someone will get back to you"..... I've no idea when.
