I dont understand whats going on with best buy.
I have gone into best buy 2 times within the past week and recieved 2 different answers.
I want to buy my daughter a macbook pro, and was at first told that they would be happy to match apples student discount price, then 3 days later told that it is not within there policy.
This does not make sense to me because i was told theat they always match local competitors, and the is an apple store in my local areas (maybe 20 mins away from best buy).
What is the true policy?
Also will i be able to recieve the 100$ apps card as well?

Hi thujijetup,
Best Buy does not have a company-wide policy in place to honor Apple’s student discount, but individual stores may offer similar accommodations at on-site management’s discretion. We also do not honor free item offers (like iTunes App Store cards) or competitors’ bundle promotions. For more information though I’d encourage you to check out our Price Match Guarantee FAQ:
I hope this helps!
