And like i said , its best buys name all overe the front of the card.
Come on now, HSBC has lots of questionable practices, weather its small print , the way its worded or just in there statements .
They know if you dont pay , your credit rating will get hit hard. And in todays world , no one can chance that.
But now when i hear best buy , i think HSBC .and when i think HSBC i'm not very happy and by what i have read in this community (and online other places) not many are happy.

I've had my computer stolen from my home on Jan. 1st 2010. I called Best Buy I called the Credit Card company and everyone said, "Nothing we can do." So here i am thinking i have to get stuck paying $1200.00 on a product I don't even have anymore; when suddenly 7 months (July 23rd) later I'm paying a bill and realize I'm paying a "Debt Cancellation" fee. Well I call and ask the 'Indonesian' dude what this thing is; he starts his robot thing when a certain few words come out of his mouth; "fully cancel the debt of stolen product." I'm in complete shock and stop the man in his robotic flow, if you may, and tell him that I called 7 months back and reported my computer being stolen. He tells me, "Oh, well anything after 6 months is passed the term." I demanded to speak to a Superviser and he says, " Well, Uh, I'll send you a claim and just send it back in the mail." Well I called back and ended up speaking to a Claims Associate named Jadis who reassured me that it will be taken care of. IT BETTER BE or I'll see Best Buy in a small claims court! Who's willing to join me?

Regardless of where you go to get a credit card, there's always fine print. ALWAYS. Associates should do their best to inform you about the credit card to the best of their ability. But keep in mind, a.) they have several other customers to attend to, b.) realistically for someone to verbally go over all the information concerning any credit card and go in fine detail until you understood every last aspect of it would take hours upon hours. c.) all the information is available to you. Take advantage.
I understand frustrations when it comes to credit cards. I'm right there too. However, I don't blame the companies that supplied them to me. I blame myself for not taking the time to completely understand what I was getting myself into.
