I was just in bestbuy trying to price match a pair of BOSE headphones. Bestbuy had them for $149.99 and crutchfield had them for $49.95 after $100 instant savings.
So after flagging down a sales person. They just walk away. And them i flag down a asst mgr and she just keeps walking even after she seen me.
So i go up to the counter and say can you buy this back here and they said can we see the price match. So i showed them the website on the instore laptop and you'll never guess what happen.
THE F'ING STORE MGR TRIES TO PULL UP THE SAME WEBSITE ON A DIFFERENT LAPTOP. I WAS THINKING TO MYSELF WHAT THE F DID I WASTE MY TIME FOR LOOKING UP THE WEBSITE THEN.
ANYWAY HE PULLED UP THE WEBSITE AND SAID HE COULD NOT PRICE MATCH IT.
This store is getting on my last nerve. I was there a week ago trying to get a camera price-match with BESTBUY.COM and the store mgr said it's below cost or some crap and they can't match it off their own f'ing website.
SO EVERYTIME I COME IN THIS DUMP THEIR IS SOME ISSUE WITH PRICE-MATCHING.
Well just so everyone knows in bestbuy corp. I buy alot of stuff from bestbuy. Just this week i've purchased 3 macbook pro's and a open-box gaming computer along with 6 sony led tv's for my new house.
I work for the government in IT and i'm also a part time editor for WSJ. So i can make or break a business just with a newspaper.
Just so corp knows. I'll be returning all the stuff i listed above and yes it's still with 14 days FOR ALL THAT STUFF and i'll be sure to wipe the hard drives of the macs using DBAN too.
I REFUSE TO SUPPORT A BUSINESS WHEN I KEEP HAVING ISSUES GETTING A SIMPLE PRICE-MATCH. I'LL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM YOU GUYS AGAIN & HOPEFULLY YOUR NEXT FOR C-11 JUST LIKE CIRCUIT CITY.
I'LL DRIVE MY 2011 PORSCHE SOMEWHERE ELSE TO BUY ALL MY TECH STUFF.

You'll find that some of BB's apologists are quick to adopt the view that anyone saying they'll no longer shop there because of a bad experience is claiming to do so much business with BB that the customer's decision to stop shopping there will put the company out of business. Is there a local Crutchfield store there with that price?
Last I knew they did not have brick and mortar locations.
You'll find that the store did not need to price match these headphones if it doesn't conform to the price match policy requirements. Stores don't need to match online retailers other than bestbuy.com per the price match policy. So if there is no physical store there it seems they were following policy.
