The first person who told you $250 was correct, as was the second person who told you $99.99, both were correct in different ways.
$99.99 is our in store back up if the hard drive is still functioning. Yours may have been going bad and just happened to work the second time you were in. The first time it may have appeared to be dead and would then have needed Data Recovery Services which DO start at $250 and can go up to $2000 depending on the severity of the hard drive.
Getting an entire refund for a data back up is a rare occasion, so I'm glad that you were able to be refunded. As for him lying about the manager being there, you didn't ask for the store manager. You asked for his manager, than his supervisor. As stated in the other thread on here, there's ALWAYS a manager you can talk to.
As for you swearing, I don't care who you are, if you start swearing at me, I'm going to ask you to leave, or get a manager to escort you to leave. Get mad, I can't blame you for being mad, but verbally assaulting someone is NEVER called for. Let me repeat. EVER. You're a big person, use grown up words.

Yea...yadayada away. Who's grown up here anyway? I honestly know there isn't customers in this world who "wouldn't" handle what I've gone through in a GOOD MANNER because that was an unexcepteable "CLAIM" one of the "geeks" called informing my data will be lost without my knowledge. Besides, like you said, you're a BB employee "who" doesn't like words such as profanity in your FACE or ONLINE because it's a job (or your life -lame), but it's also your job that I, as a customer, get gurantee satisfaction for my money especially when it was important to me! In that case I know no customers gets a phone call from any BB employee regarding their product so I advise you to look at yourself and stop saying what's in the fine print when noone mentioned it. It made me trust you "geeks" in that sense because lying will day back fire and this is no threat because like the world says "what goes around comes around" that is karma.
As for the prices that changes with differen't "geek" personnel, I don't believe it, you "geeks" have no respect and no consideration of all the customers who goes in and out the door because money is what you pride for. & So what I got my money back because it's rare. If I wouldn't have, my lawyer would've been in there because those were memories of my children growing up which was worth more than any employee. For manager wise, at least all the employees should recommend the store manager rather than the departments manager because it's just frustrating talking to someone who doesn't care. So exactly said, YOU DON'T CARE! You'll find any excuses to make yourself not responsible for any damages because it's your "job" to gather money and not satify customers. That is also why CC is out. Am I right?

Well then I'm sorry, but I have tried to explain the reasons why your data was deleted, and the pricing for our data backup/recovery and why you may have been offered both options.
I really don't know what else to tell you.
