IMO the 14 day in-store price match policy on computers is too restrictive, especially if you are price matching the EXACT SAME ITEM at the store where the purchase occurred. I recently bought a Toshiba laptop and I've watched the purchase price of this item be reduced twice shortly after my purchase. I just barely caught the first price cut but missed the second one as it falls beyond 14 days. This is very frustating and not customer friendly. A standard 30-day price guarantee on all electronics is more reasonable.
P.S. Actually, there was three ( 3 ) price drops in the span of about 3 weeks. I bought in at the first price drop then two ( 2 ) more price drops followed thru today. IMO this is far too much price volitility. BBY can't expect much customer satisfaction on this issue with this amount of adverse price activity.

Every retailer that sells laptops has the exact same policy.

Go ahead. I checked it a long time ago. All retailers have the same return policy for laptops.

Thought I'd do some legwork for you Nokia
W@lmart - Computer hardware: Must be returned with any included software within 15 days of receipt.
F ry's doesn't even accept returns from Apple, Compq, HP, Inel, Misubisi, Sony, or Toshiba
Ultimate Electronics - 14 days for computers, monitors, projectors, camcorders, digital cameras, car multimedia and radar detectors.
In fact, the only place I could find anything longer, was for online purchases, which is mostly due(according to Amazons phone rep) to time for shipping. All Brick/Mortar stores were 2 weeks.

While a 30 day price match policy would be a tightwad's dream, most level-headed folks realize any guarantee of a low price is better than none.

Yep, one of the biggest reasons being that technology changes very fast. One week it's the HP DV6-2145DX and in two weeks it'll be the HP DV6-2150DX.
