My fiance and I bought a 46" Samsung TV back in January. We decided on the Samsung brand because you would also receive a 200.00 giftcard to NFL shop.com. We send the information needed for the tv immediately and it said wait 8-10 weeks. It has now been 12 weeks and no gift card was ever sent. This has also happened to our brother-in-law, who has also made the Samsung purchase of a 46" tv set. He has also received the same result of "NOTHING." Is anyone else having this issue as well? We would have went with the Bravia instead but both have chosen the total of 400.00 in giftcards as opposed to no consolation prize. Any suggestions, I know we still have our receipt, well at least a copy and it was purchased thru besy buy credit card so we still have proof.

This also happened to me. I bought a 52" Samsung LCD TV in mid-January, a couple weeks before the Superbowl. I mailed in all of the requirements for the $200 NFL shop promotion the same week I bought the TV (January). It is now May, and I haven't received it. I am able to look up the status of my rebate / gift card on the checkmyrebate.com website, and it has shown the same status since February, which is the following (pasted from checkmyrebate.com):
Your JANUARY NFLSHOP.COM OFFER offer was received on 2/11/2009 , processed on 2/16/2009 and it is being prepared to ship please check back periodically for an updated status.
I emailed checkmyrebate.com 6 times since February, and never got a response. I emailed Samsung customer care twice, and never got a response. I wound up filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau against both of the companies 2 weeks ago and will be happy to update this forum with that resolution.

Have you tried calling their rebate center? The number is 1(800)635-8478, and they state that representatives are available from 8:30am-5:00pm EST Monday through Friday. As this was a promotion offered directly from Samsung, Best Buy does not have any access to or influence over this rebate process. Still, we do want to make sure that any vendors offering rebates to our customers fulfill them in a timely manner. Please keep us updated as to what you learn from Samsung.
Thanks for posting!
