To say I’m a Bungie fan is a bit of an understatement. I vividly remember playing Halo: Combat Evolved for the first time at a store demo in 2001 while my mother went about her shopping, which is where I fell in love with the developer. When Halo 3 came out I even purchased the Legendary Edition, which came with a full-sized Master Chief helmet. Unfortunately the helmet wasn’t wearable like I’d hoped, but it still has a place on the shelf to this day. I’ve played every game Bungie released though the Xbox 360 generation, though as I grew older and my taste in games began to change and I found myself gravitating away from consoles and more to the PC.
New Frontiers This caused a problem when the first Destiny was announced and didn’t include a PC version like myself and others had hoped it would. Over the past 3 years since its release I’ve read and seen a lot of great things about Destiny, and still held out hope it would come to PC someday. Now with the recent announcement of Destiny 2 my dreams have finally come true, and I’ll finally be able to play Destiny on my PC!
More to come
Details on Destiny 2 are still light, but Bungie is scheduled to reveal gameplay footage and more details during a livestream on May 18th that I can’t wait to watch.
