I received as a gift a sony walkman mp3 player with fm tuner. I couldnt wait to get going and load music on it. Unfortunately after I plugged it into my Mac, it would not recognize it as a usb device nor a music device. It would only recognize it as an iPhoto device and then it would do nothing. After researching online (It came with NO instructions) I found that this was a fairly common issue. THe problem is that SONY thought it would be funny to make their devices compatible only with WINDOWS OS. There were several workarounds but they were tedious and from what I found from online posts dont always work. 

Best Buy: This was a gift bought in California and I live in Texas, My elderly mother cannot find the receipt and did not provide me with a gift receipt. SHe says she bought it the first or second week of December. The package is opened. Can I exchange it for an Ipod in store?
