I just accidently dropped my ipod touch and the sceen cracked. I had purchased a 3- year warranty plan when i purchased it and it still hasn't been one year. What will happen to my warranty when i go trade it in? will it get voided or will it continue on the new one i get.

Once an item has been replaced, the Geek Squad protection is considered to be fulfilled.  The protection plan won't transfer over to the new one, but you still have the option of purchasing one to go on your new iPod.

If you get 3- year warranty then surely you get it.There is no need to get a new one.

Your iPod will probably be sent out under the rapid exchange program. You will get a refurbished iPod back (generally) in 3-5 business days. The warranty will continue on your new refurbished iPod.
