Refrigerator Recommendations.

Okay, so this would be a newer thread than last July.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a new refrigerator?

I was looking at a Samsung French Door RF266AEPN.  I did further research and have seen where there is a class action lawsuit against Samsung for a certain 266 model.  Now I'm leary.  There is also a class action lawsuit against LG for their fridges.  I wouldn't own an LG since I did get a lemon back in 2006.  That lemon was replaced after raising a stink with the Mom and Pop operation that I bought it from.  It was replaced by the currently owned  Whirlpool Conquest Gold that is on it's third motherboard and no longer makes ice.  The liner also has hairline cracks to which Whirlpool said they would send me a new liner but I had to install it.  Yeah right, like I'm going to do that.

At this point I'm ready to throw in the towel on fridges and live out of an Igloo cooler.  It's more reliable.  I will buy the extended warranty plan to cover myself.  Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Refrigerator Recommendations.

KellyeL,

If you look on our website at the different models of fridges, we post the customer reviews for each one. That might be a good way to start your search. You can also talk to the sales associates at the store to see if they prefer one over another, but usually we try to find the model that fits your needs. Hope this helps.

Re: Refrigerator Recommendations.

I would hate to take business away from Best Buy, but I like my Kenmore, which I think is really a Samsung. Service protection plan is pretty good and I like dealing with Sears. No offense Best Buy, but they have a little more experience in appliances. And selection.
