I'm sorry your Straightener isn't working like it should. My first thought was that it wasn't dual voltage, but I checked the manufacturer's website and it says it is. Since you are out of the country, I would try taking it to the Remington store and see if they can help you. The warranty from the manufacturer is a limited 4 year warranty, so it's worth a try. Otherwise you'd want to send it back to your friend in the US to have it taken care of.

I was hoping Remington would cover it even in Europe. The best recommendation is to send it back to a friend in the US and have them send it in to Remington. Sorry for the inconveniences.

Hi Marti, I wanted to ask you until when I have the chance to change this product? because it's too expensive to send it back to the US by mail and I wanted to wait a few months that someone is going to the States, and if it's possible to change it for some other product the same price?

Our return policy is listed on the back of your receipt or online. Basically, you have 30 days to return a product. I'm at a loss as to what to do now. I'm surprised that Remington doesn't support their products outside the US. We have no locations in your country as present. I suppose we are now past the return policy. Did you try connecting it to a voltage converter just in case? Even though it said it was dual voltage, thought that one might not be. Wish I could be of more help.
