Well thanks for nothing, the $99 dollar package is sold out and were unlikely to even get the headset thanks to your shipping fiasco.

 

 

As posted on the Samsung Protions Site:

Best buy better make this right. My reason for pre-ordering was to get the headphones and sd card. Could have ordered it from anywhere else and still got that.

Walked into my local AT&T store and was out in less than 15 minutes with my phone. No lines, no headaches, no runaround.

Good luck to you all, Best Buy completely botched this one.

Yep...immersive bundle is now GONE.

Samsung Galaxy S8 VR promotion - not valid for Best Buy customers?

Have I misunderstood the terms of this promotion?

 

The advertised free goggles, controller, and $50 game credit offer is only valid if you purchased the item on or before 4/20.  But the store would not allow us to purchase the phone until it is available for pick up at the store (my phone is ready today 4/21).

 

So, basically Best Buy made their customers inelligible for the offer?

Hey Haarzton,

 

I think you are misunderstanding how this promotion works. You had to have placed a pre-order on or before 4/20/2017 to qualify for the promotion. It sounds like you qualify for the promotion as it sounds like you placed a pre-order for this phone.

According to the Samsung promotion site, the phone has to have been purchased between 3/30-4/20.  Best Buy would not let me purchase it before it can be picked up from the store, which is today 4/21.  Do you see my point?

 

When filling out the promotion offer form, it asks what day I purchased the phone.  The earliest I can purchase it from Best Buy, is the day when I pick up the phone... which is AFTER the promotion has expired.

 

The preorder agreement from the store is not a purchase; it's a reservation to purchase upon product availability.
