Thanks for the reply, Tasha. I just don't understand why it hasn't shipped yet. I am glad that it has been resolved, but I'm concerned I won't be able to get it tomorrow. It's not the end of the world if I get it later than that, I understand, but I just had planned my work schedule etc around picking it up tomorrow. Is there anything else that would be preventing the shipment from happening?

Hi. Mine changed to preparing today. I called best buy the lady said it's waiting for the carrier to pick it up. Do you think I'll get it by tomorrow? I wouldn't mind Saturday either. I'm moving out of state Monday. So from Monday I won't be here to sign for it. First time pre ordering anything for me. From what the guy on the phone said before I ordered it Id get it on the 19th. I thought same day as it releases so you get it the same time as you would if it were store pick up. Best buy is 45 min from me so I picked shipping. What do I do if it doesn't come Friday or Saturday? Will they change the address and send to cross country to me? Or can I pick it up in store anyway? Or am I worrying too much and it's going to be here tomorrow by overnight shipping or something? Anybody that can help I'd appreciate it.

I don't know that this will make you feel better, but I ordered mine on the 3rd and it still hasn't shipped. Maybe it is going in waves.

You are all likely to receive updates regarding your order today or tomorrow, so please keep an eye on your emails. 

mz_ordo - I apologize if you were advised you were the 2nd pre-order in the store, and if your order is not being fulfilled as you anticipated. We greatly appreciate your patience as we process the pre-orders in the order they were received. 

rvajeff and brynnftw - Currently it appears that both of your orders are awaiting carrier pickup. Please know that once your order officially ships you should receive an email with that update as well as tracking information. 

Drpk - Your order appears to be awaiting carrier pickup as well. With an impending move on Monday to a different state, I can understand your concern. While I would be surprised if you didn't receive the phone tomorrow, please know there are several factors out of our control (shipping delays or you not being available to sign for the package, to name a couple) that could prevent you from receiving it tomorrow. If your package cannot be delivered, your phone would be returned to us for a refund. Your upgrade would then be reinstated a few business days after that. Please be aware though that you would then be charged the value of the freebie item you received, per our Return & Exchange Promise regarding bundles. However, if you returned the freebie, you would of course receive a refund for the item.

Thank you Tasha. You seem to be pretty sure I'll get it tomorrow so that's great. Yes things do happen nobody can control. If I don't get it in time will return the gear fit 2 and pick up both again in store when I can. Will I still get the gear fit 2 deal if I do that sometime next week? If I don't receive the phone by Monday.

I think the biggest concern for many is the lack of transparency with the "process".

 

I know myself pre-ordered on August 7th. The BB near me is approximately 30minutes away; now here is the issue... Sure I got the watch early, it's cool. However, I ordered because of the phone,which is stuck in "pre-order" limbo. I have mine set to "pick-up" in store because I want to ensure I don't randomly open up a damaged device. Calling my Best Buy store they will not even confirm if my phone is there. I do not want to pick it up early, even told them this, I just want to know so I can plan my schedule accordingly tomorrow because if the message goes out late and I do not get to pick up Friday, all that is going to happen is BB getting a cancelled order and a returned watch. Also, as a formor part time Geek Squad employee in my days, I know somone can at least look at this information.

 

Meanwhile I'm waiting in pre-order limbo the AT&T, my carrier, near me is sitting on a load of Note 7s in the back. I went inside to see what it looked like and hold it prior to 'maybe' picking it up tomorrow. I can technically "pre-order" right now from them, get the phone first thing tomorrow, no waiting no problem. I guess I'll have to wait on the watch to come in from Samsung, but in the grand scheme of things...that's not bad at all. The phone is the important part, not the watch.

 

Feel free to PM me if you want the order number and can check for me, that would be awesome.

Hey just to let everybody know. I just got the message saying mine shipped. I tried putting the number into ups. They don't have info yet. Ups sent me an email just now saying I'll get it by tomorrow end of day. Mines sprint black onyx. Check your email or texts. I have an account with ups so they let me know too I guess.

Drpk and rvajeff - I'm glad to hear you should be receiving the phones tomorrow as anticipated! Please allow the UPS tracking number to process and update on UPS' end. 

ryudo6850 - Currently, stores should be allocating received inventory to pre-orders. As you've probably read, we fulfill pre-orders in the order they are received. With that said, I'm sorry if you've been unable to receive a satisfactory answer from the store regarding your order status. Please know that you should receive an email notification regarding your order once it is ready for pickup.

Tasha- First, I want to tell you thank you for your prompt responses. You truly do seem to care about the customers that shop at Best Buy. I also do understand the order in which it is received. However, given my area... I highly doubt the amount of orders is overwhelming enough to topple the 3 AT&T stores nearby. Along with the carrier store that is in my town, I would find it fairly surprising that these other stores would have surplus stock laying around for me to "pre-order" now and pick up tomorrow. Where my pre-order over 11 days old doesn't provide me with more information. That is the only thing I'm trying to find out about.
