Does anyone know if this is going to be FedEx, or UPS? If for some reason it gets delayed, I could handle FedEx since they deliver on Saturdays. But I can't be home to sign for it if it were Monday...

I don't know, but I have had to reschedule deliveries in the past around my work schedule, and you just have to create an account online witht he carrier (free) and then you pay a small fee for them to come within a window you choose. The most I have ever paid was 5$

Thanks for the info. Hopefully that means we will start seeing more shipping confirmations soon Smiley Happy I assume it was overnight or next day air or whatever they call it?

I got my email that my phone is ready to be picked up.... tomorrow damnit.  I pre-ordered in store on the 4th.

Hello everyone! 

My apologies for the delay in my response! As a few of you have shared, we are beginning to process pre-orders that have had inventory allocated to them. I would strongly encourage you all to keep a close eye on your email for any updates. While we may occasionally use other carriers, most of these pre-orders should ship via UPS. 

 

Also, I would like to reiterate that we fulfill pre-orders for each model (carrier and color) at each location (warehouse or store) in the order they are received. Once pre-orders are fulfilled for a particular model at a store, remaining available inventory of that model should be available to purchase there. 

rvajeff - I'm sorry to hear that you ran into some unforeseen complications with your pre-order processing. On rare occasions, there may be trouble performing the pre-activation of your phone which can delay your pre-order. However, upon checking on your pre-order, everything seems to have been resolved and your order has continued to process!

When should we expect an update to know if we should be expecting pickup tomorrow or if there's not enough inventory and will be delayed. This is for an online order for instore pickup

I just called my local Bestbuy where I placed my pre-order. The rep stated she got some Note 7's in but they are already allocated to other customers. That there were customers ahead of me on the list. I asked her how that can be when I was the 2nd person to pre-order from their store. She couldn't say anything but that they will have another shipment tomorrow some time but doesn't know when or if my phone will be in it... They messed up my pre-order for the S7 Edge as well before.
