If preordered online when will they start shipping out? Will they be shipped to arrive on the launch date or will the be shipped on the launch date?

would love an answer to this too. With all this talk of Verizon and T-Mobile preorders shipping early...and our preorder process just sitting stagnant on the order page...desperately hoping it gets delivered the same day as release.

 

Need to take a day off to have someone sign for it...etc, etc.

are Note 7 preorders (NOT store pickup) being shipped to be DELIVERED on the 19th?

as the subject says. Can we expect to have our note 7 preorders that are shipped to home DELIVERED on the release date?

With the release just a couple days away, it's understandable that questions and concerns would arise as you all anxiously await your new phones.

Please know that as with all pre-orders, we do our best to ensure pre-orders shipped to your home are received as close to the release date as possible. With phone pre-orders, we fulfill them for each phone model in the order they are received at each location as inventory allows. However, there are many variables to consider, such as vendor agreements and any shipping delays that your particular order may encounter. As such, I would encourage you to keep an eye on your order in the days to come. Once your order is fulfilled and shipped, you should receive tracking information that will allow you to prepare as necessary for the delivery.

It's great to hear you pre-ordered in store! Please know that due to the nature of in-store phone pre-orders, you are not able to view them on BestBuy.com. Please know that you should still receive email notifications regarding any updates to your order.

This is why I hate buying outside of Amazon. With them I would know the exact date I would be getting the items I bought. Why is it so hard for other sites to do that?

Pre ordered note 7

Hello everyone i preordered note 7 last week I have two questions maybe it been answered on previous posts but first when i check progress it says waiting authorization and second will i recieve the phone on release day since it being shipped to my house?

In regards to when you will receive your pre-order, as previously mentioned we do our best to ensure pre-orders are received as close to the release date as possible. Furthermore, we fulfill pre-orders in the order they are received at each location for each model. I would encourage you to keep an eye on your email for updates regarding your pre-order.

I ordered mine the first day it was available to pre order. I figured it would at least already be in the prep stage at this point. Not only that, but it now says Awaiting Authorization under my payment, which seems pretty inacurrate since I ordered 2 weeks ago. Any idea what is going on and when I can expect my phone? I already had to do the order twice because the first time it didn't go through for whatever reason, and it is going to be double upsetting if people can go into the store and purchase the phone before I even receive mine.

I'm sorry to hear you had trouble placing your pre-order for the Note7 with us, although I'm glad to hear you were ultimately successful. 
 

In regards to your order reflecting that it is awaiting authorization, please know that when an order is placed with us, we typically authorize the funds to ensure they are available. While authorizations may make funds unavailable to you, we do not actually collect funds through this transaction. We then reverse the authorization and place an actual charge on the payment method to collect the funds when the order is fulfilled. However, authorizations do expire. As such, pre-orders often have authorizations expire before the order is fulfilled. Shortly before orders are fulfilled is when we would generally begin the authorization process again. 

When checking on your order, I see that your authorization has expired, and everything looks fine. I would encourage you to keep an eye on your email for updates regarding your order.

I placed my preorder on the first day we were eligible and it still has not shown any prep or shipment. Just "in progress." How is it going to arrive at my home on Friday if it's not already preparing to ship?
