      <title>replacement for laptop that could not be fixed</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;Best buy repair junked my quasmio x305-q701 gaming laptop that I bought for 1399.00 now I would like to know what is comparable or what I can choose from that's equal to the quasmio, I understand there is a drop off in technology but what are we comparing, screen size, hard drive, chipset, price.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Which brings me to this I picked a ASUS G60vx-RBB05 that was 999.00 but wasn't satisfied with the hard drive so I returned it and ordered a G60VX-RBB09 witch is priced at 1100.00, they charged me a difference of 214.00. If I hadn't picked the 999.00 laptop and just ordered the 1100.00 laptop, would I be paying the 214.00. Any ideas? Thanks you in advance.   &lt;/p&gt;</description>

      <description>We actually went to the store this morning and a manager was available. He did everything he could to get answers. He found out that yes indeed, it's a government requirement to install these brackets to secure the stove to prevent it from tipping. He was unaware of this until he went to his boss and found this out. He went into great detail as to the size of this bracket and he said that there's a good chance it could be mounted to the wall instead of the floor. He even told us that he'd come over and hook up the stove himself if we were determined to not have the bracket installed because he wanted us to be happy and not lose a customer. I told him that if we had known this up front, at least we would have been prepared. I also told him that I didn't appreciate the way this was presented to us by the person who called to set up the delivery. We agreed to proceed with the delivery and give them a chance to show us that installing this bracket isn't a big deal. We were told if there was a problem, we should call them immediately. We left the store feeling better than we did on Friday after we got the phone call. They do provide good customer service in the store, but whe you have to deal with making arrangements for service on the phone, it's not that pleasant of an experience. I will update this after they show up on Tuesday and let everyone know what happened. I really didn't want to go shopping for another stove and there's a good chance that we'd have to go through the same thing if we went somewhere else.</description>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;Coupons on the actual laptop are hard to find. I haven't one ever. Laptops are just not included on these offers. The reward zone is cool because you can just get the card and for every 250 you spend you get 5 dollars back. I highly doubt that coupon is legit, nor do i think it will work.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;Actually, the laptop that I have researched extensively is at &lt;em&gt;several &lt;/em&gt;websites and stores. I do, however, like the components of Best Buy's configuation and price the best ,hence my registration here. First and foremost, the laptop that should be on everyone's wish list (lol) is the HP TX2Z Tablet that a Best Buy within 30 miles of me has instock (at least it says this online)! So, I see all these like 10% off coupons for computer accessories, TV's, applicances, etc. What about the one's for computers and whatnot? I am itching to feel like I'm getting a good deal on this, and even though I may already, I think a coupon would be great. My mom just bought the Toshiba Mini at Best Buy last week and signed up for that Reward Points crap. I don't really know what that is, but from my quick perusing through these forums, apparently you get coupons and whatnot. I'm not RUSHED to make this purchase and have been feverishly looking for a comparable used model of this laptop (hey, a quick reformat makes it new to me!), but if I could find a coupon or something I would definitely go buy one immediately. So do they just not make them for laptops? I found one online that says &amp;quot;$100 off any notebook purchase&amp;quot; and has some exclusions (which do NOT apply to me, so weeee) but it's some weird print screen although the coupon looks legit. It expires 11/24/2009 but it's the ONLY one I found and usually you would see these plastered all over the place so I don't want to try it and then look like some weirdo if it didn't work, lol.       <description>&lt;p&gt;I purchased a 46in hdtv bluray combo and chose in store pickup.  I received email that my order was ready to be picked up.  I arranged to have someone help me as my car was to small and when I arrived went to in store pick up counter who told me they would bring the order up.  After 20 minutes and no items I asked what was the problem and they said they couldn' t find my tv and were going to look again.  I ended up waiting a hour and finally they say no tv.  I asked if they could ship it to me from another store and they said sure for $70.00.  I purchased from BB even though I hear bad stories.  Never again.  Fool me once shame on you:  Fool me twice, shame on me.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

      <title>Purchased Best Buy 5 year warranty, and for what?</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;I've had headaches with Verizon and Altell customer service but I never expected Best Buy to let me down.  My LG WM2016 Front load washing machine decided to keep filling and spill about 15 to 20 gallons of water all over my floors.  I immediately called best buy after using the shop vac to suck up the water before it ruined the carpet and soaked into the floor boards and drywall.  The first tech from the GeekSquad (GS) told me that they would call me back in fours hours because they had another department that had to research who could repair my washer.  They never called.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;  I called the second time that day and they told me that someone would be out on Saturday and they gave me the number to the repair center.  I called the repair center and they don't even work on Saturdays.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;  The third call they said that another service center would be out on Saturday and I couldn't even contact that repair service and they are unlisted in the phone book.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;  The fourth call was that someone would be out on Monday or if I wanted to I could pay for someone to come and fix it and I would get reimbursed, only if they were and authorized LG repair service. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; The fifth and final call was to corporate in which the wonderful lady was patient with me and did everything she could to help but the earliest available date is Tuesday.  There is no guarantee that they can even fix it next week without having to order parts and Thanksgiving is coming. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; My wife is at the Laundromat spending $3 a load to wash and dry our entire family's (2 daughters and a son) laundry for the past week.  I can deal with combat and the care of 63 Marines under my command.  I can't accept the fact that I paid for a warranty that does me absolutely no good when I need it the most.  My family is most important to me and to have their quality of life affected because I purchased a warranty that gives false security is really a professional let down from Best Buy.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
